IT Systems Administrator

Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure and backup systems
- Manage IT budget
- Sourcing, installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, workstations and laptops
- Ensure computer systems are maintained with current antivirus & software security updates
- Manage and support integration of multiple cloud-based third-party services with each other and in-house systems to streamline business operations
- Conduct CMMC & NIST SP 800-171 compliance self-assessments and maintain records of findings and objective evidence of compliance
- Develop and conduct cybersecurity training for employees
- Process and solve employee IT related issues as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of IT Support experience with Active Directory management
- 2 years of cybersecurity experience
- Administration of a Microsoft 365 based organization (Exchange / Intune / Entra ID / Teams/ SharePoint etc.) with at least 25 users.
- Experience with moderate to advanced network management. This should include vLAN, VPN , RADIUS, and Enterprise Wi-Fi management/administration.
- Experience with creating and managing centralized application deployment solutions within a device management platform. (i.e BigFix, Intune, Manage Engine, Kaseya)
- Experience with managing enterprise data backup solutions. (i.e. Veeam, N-Able, Comvault)
- Experience supporting a NIST 800-171, or CMMC Compliant organization.
- Experience designing and implementing IT solutions in a small to medium sized business.
- Hands-on experience upgrading/repairing computers and printers
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Unix servers
- Experience with WordPress/SSL
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, and hear. The employee occasionally is required to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or push/pull up to 40 pounds.
