Senior Sales Manager

Mountain Lake Lodge is growing and looking for a professional, experienced HOTEL/RESORT Senior Sales Manager. Mountain Lake Lodge is a historic, rustic, boutique resort on 2600 acres in SW Virginia (about 25 minutes from Virginia Tech). This position will work closely with our VP of Sales on conference contracts (including catering)/room contracts in all market segments except social/wedding business. Only candidates with hotel/resort sales manager experience will be considered. Catering experience is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales management and business development
• Strong negotiation and account management skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in a sales environment
• Proficiency in B2B sales and outside sales strategies
• Familiarity with Salesforce and technology sales
• Excellent analytical skills to drive sales performance
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
• Must have experience working independently, but also being a part of a high energy, professional team.
• Must have a history of exceeding goals and being proactive to meet goals
