Touch-A-Truck NRV

Touch-A-Truck NRV is BACK! We can't wait for the 11th?Annual Touch-A-Truck event, happening on August 15th from 10am-3pm at Uptown Christiansburg (NRV Mall)! Kids will get their imaginations in gear as they climb in the driver's seat to honk horns, sound sirens and learn about the big trucks that come with some cool careers. The event will be horn and siren free from 10am - 1pm. Entry: $5?per adult. Children 18 and under are free. Tickets on sale July 1! By attending this event, you help power our industry and support the trades. The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s focus for Touch-A-Truck NRV is to allow children to become familiar with building industry and public service careers by offering an educational opportunity to explore trucks, tractors, heavy machinery and to interact with the people who build, protect, and serve the NRV. Proceeds from this event go towards the New River Valley Home Builders Association?and the NRVHBA Building Futures Foundation, which helps fund scholarships to local students to pursue education in construction and the trades, provide charitable contributions to community partners, and fund future workforce development initiatives in the community.
