The Cleghorn Band at Claytor Lake State Park
Enjoy a night of entertaining bluegrass with the Cleghorn band from Smyth County. The name Cleghorn comes from the valley community where the members grew up, and can still be found singing harmony on Sunday mornings in the Baptist Church .
Cleghorn has been featured on the TV show, Song of the Mountains. The Lincoln Theatre in historic downtown Marion, Va. hosts the Song of the Mountains monthly concert series featuring traditional and bluegrass music. Many performances are videotaped for national PBS distribution.
