Seminar - ''Mind-ing the Shop: Mental Health Issues in the Workplace''
New River Valley Community Services, in conjunction with Family Support Services, will host a seminar for local business owners/human resources professionals focusing on mental health issues in the workplace. Presenters include: Derrick A. Abney, a consumer of mental health services who is also employed as a Certified Peer Specialist with the Fairfax/Falls Church Community Services Board; and Susan Hurst, Human Resources Manager for New River Valley Community Services.
