Improv for Communication
FUN, FAST-PASED TRAINING LED BY STEVE MATUSZAK
The Improv Skills that Elevate Every Business Conversation
Have you ever wanted to increase your ability to be spontaneous, especially when communicating.
Every interaction in business, whether sales, customer service, meetings, or simply collaborating with a colleague or client relies on our ability to listen and navigate the unfolding conversation.
Improvisation is the art of dealing with the unexpected. And life, conversations, people and situations are full of surprises. And being better prepared to handle the unexpected is actually possible, and fun!
Come learn the best practices of improvisation, like the show Whose Line Is it Anyway, which help you generate ideas more quickly, remain flexible in the face of uncertainty, and foster deeper connections with others, all in a hilarious, interactive atmosphere.
Steve is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Marketing Department and formerly taught with Pamplin's Management Department at Virginia Tech. He is involved with Pamplin's Assessment of Learning and Business Communication Skills Education.
