Hospitality Sales
This two-day workshop is designed for novice and experienced hotel sales managers, directors, and general managers. This program is geared toward those looking to breathe new life into their team's efforts. With the salad days of double digit REVPAR growth quickly fading and occupancies flat or declining, now is the time to energize your sales team to sell in a recession market. If you are interested in ensuring your team's success during economic shifts and maintaining or growing your market share, then this is the workshop for you and your staff. Howard Feiertag, a well-known hospitality industyr veteran, is a faculty memeber in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Pampling College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). His experience and connections in the hotel sales and marketing field help him keep a strong pulse on industry trends.

The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Roanoke, Virginia A block of lodging rooms is being held at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center until October 17, 2008 at a special conference rate of $129 per room per night for single occupancy or $149 for double occupancy, plus 12% tax. To make reservations contact the hotel directly, 540-985-5900 and ask for the Hospitality Sales Certificate Program room block. Self-parking is own your own is $7.00 per day.
Fees/Admission
The registration fee is $395 for the first person and $345 for each additional person attending from the same company. Fee includes continental breakfast, continuous refreshment breaks and lunch both days. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certificate will be awarded. Registration deadline is November 10, 2008.
