Family Matters: Breast Health Awareness and Cancer Prevention
Looking up your family tree could save your life as well as those of children, siblings and other close family members. Family history has proven to be a good indicator for the chance of developing breast cancer. But, it is not the only factor, and Dr. Tamera Howell, GYN, and Kara Bui, a Carilion Clinic certified genetics counselor will go over how family matters.
