2nd Annual Fools for Dogs
Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is comprised of local citizens who donate their time, talent and skills as volunteer partners with Montgomery County Animal Shelter, our county-operated shelter in Christiansburg.
The immediate goal of our group is improvement of conditions at the existing shelter, with a long term goal of providing direction and assistance to the county in the design, construction and operation of a much-needed new facility. Our volunteers have proudly served to conduct renovations at the shelter, have continued the successful dog-walking program and have made it possible to extend Saturday adoption hours at the shelter. This is only the beginning. We have many additional projects in our future!
As a fundraising project that will support our mission and goals for a better life for the dogs at Montgomery County Animal Shelter, we are sponsoring
“Fools for Dogs”, an afternoon of familyth from 1-3 pm. Please arrive between 12-1pm to signup. Entry fee for a team of 4 is $80. This includes 3 games, shoes, and chances to win various donated door-prizes! bowling fun at the NRV SuperBowl in Christiansburg. Our event will take place on Sunday,April 6
