Dungeon & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game that often includes the use of miniatures to expand the world created by its players. From Volunteer Montgomery: For the past 50 years, we have been the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for Montgomery County and only eligible to support volunteers who are 55+.  However, in April 2023 RSVP transitioned into Volunteer Montgomery.  We are now able to proudly work with volunteers of all ages interested in giving their time and serving the community. 
 
Our address is 210 South Pepper St. Suite D in Christiansburg.  This is the address for the Health and Human Services Building with the Health Department and Department of Social Services being located upstairs while we are on the lower level.  Our entrance is at what looks like the back of the building.  We have a small parking lot right outside of our entrance (Lot A), two larger parking lots that are at the front of the building (Lots B), and an overflow lot that is within a short walking distance from the building (Lot C).

We are thrilled and excited to invite you to the 2024 Chamber Annual Meeting! Since the formation of the Chamber, the Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner is a great way to celebrate the success and accomplishments of our members during the year. With the event being our largest of the year, be sure to purchase tickets and tables in advance. The last two years have SOLD OUT with over 400 guests in attendance. Tickets and tables are available for purchase beginning Thursday, August 8th at 10 AM.
 

This year our Board Chair, James Cabler, will deliver an outline of our program of work and acknowledge all the milestones we achieved in 2024.

Schedule of Events:
4:30 pm | Doors open for check-in
5:00 pm | Cocktail hour begins and check-in continues
5:45 pm | Relocate to ballroom
6:00 pm | Opening remarks and dinner

  • Cocktail hour will begin promptly at 5:00 pm and the seating of guests for the evening will begin at 5:45 pm. All guests should be seated promptly at 6:00 for opening remarks.
  • To ensure a smooth check-in procedure, please know your company name that you are registered under. This information is required at the time of check-in.
  • If you are not seated at a reserved table, you will be able to choose from open seating in the ballroom. Reserved seating for tables will be clearly marked with a sign on the table.
  • If you are unsure of which company you are registered under, please reach out to the Chamber staff no later than Wednesday at noon.
  • Our staff will be checking-in attendees based on alphabetical order by company name and handing out each attendee two beverage tickets at the time of check-in. 
  • The two beverage tickets can be used at the bars located in the ballroom or foyer-area. If you would prefer a drink that is not served at the bars inside the ballroom, you may purchase a cocktail at the Continental Divide, next to Preston's Restaurant.
  • Dress attire for the evening is semi-formal.


Registration will officially close on November 21, 2024 at 5 PM, if the event is not already sold out. A waiting list will begin if the event is sold out. Be sure to add your name to the waitlist if you weren't able to purchase tickets earlier.
