The attorneys of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller will present “Immigration, Employment and Foreign Workers: Ensuring Compliance and Managing Risk” at two Virginia workshops in July.
The first is scheduled for Galax, Virginia, on July 9, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Conference Center. The second will be in Blacksburg, Virginia, on July 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Skelton Conference Center on the Virginia Tech campus.
The workshops will include legal topics such as I-9 compliance, work visas, immigration regulations and laws, workers compensation and employment policies and will be an exploration of best practices, workplace issues and current compliance requirements.
Designed for HR Directors and staff, managers, supervisors, general counsel and company paralegals, the four hour sessions will include lunch. The fee for registering is $25 and the deadline for signing up is July 7.
