Warm Hearth held the first of six sessions in the Housing 101 series on Tuesday, May 12. Randy Leslie, Licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser with Lucas Appraisal explained the home appraisal valuation process. Priscilla Morris, Licensed Realtor with Long & Foster Realtors also shared her expertise on the current market conditions, how to stage your home to appeal to the buyer and listed the steps for placing a home on the market. The second session will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at 2pm. Shane Adams, President/CEO and Director of Tourism for the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will team with Sue Drzal, Administrative/Co-Director for the Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg to discuss all that Blacksburg has to offer as a retirement destination. The Housing 101 series is open to the public and those contemplating a move are encouraged to attend. Refreshments are provided.
