SUMMARY:MC Minority Business Accelerator
DESCRIPTION:Your Chamber has respectfully invited minority business owners to attend the 2022 visioning meeting to support minority-owned businesses in our community at 10:00 a.m. on April 5\, 2022\, at the Chamber office.\n\n\n\nThe Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is committed to leveraging our knowledge and resources to strengthen minority-owned businesses in our community. We are asking for your input as we continue to grow the Minority-Owned Business Accelerator. Please join us to ensure your voice is heard and needs are addressed. \n\n\n\n*** Please register for this meeting\, as a Zoom option will be provided\, with links sent prior to the meeting. ***\n\n \n\nThe pandemic has shown us how fragile our small business community can be.\n\n \n\nWe have built a strong network of women business owners since 2014\, and today we serve over 220+ women annually. However\, we need to expand our engagement with our Black\, Hispanic\, Asian\, Native American\, LBGTQ+IA\, and Veteran-owned businesses to understand better the minority business community and how we as a chamber can best support the growth strategy of minority business. \n\n \n\nThe chamber is committed to listening to our minority business partners to support you better. The chamber believes we are positioned to provide the support and programming needed to assist you in meeting your business goals. \n\n \n\nOn April 5\, your Chamber wants to hear your thoughts\, and this is your opportunity to share where you see areas of opportunity for partnerships and growth. This is the first meeting for 2022 as we look to build the right programming for you and your business. What business issues keep you up at night? What challenges do you face regularly? What support could you have used during the pandemic shutdown? What do you need?\n\n\n\nWe believe that programming and networking around the following subjects would be beneficial\, but we want your input.\n\n- Business plan development or enhancement\n\n- Financial management\n\n- Proposal writing\n\n- Marketing\n\n- Certifications\n\n\n\nPlease plan to join us on April 5 at 10:00 a.m. to allow your business voice to be heard. If you have any questions\, please contact Steve Baffuto\, President & CEO at president@montgomerycc.org\n\n\n\nFor more info about our accelerator\, click here.
