DESCRIPTION:Join us for a session of educational insight for small business owners. This workshop will be a HR Toolbox for Small Business Owners. This event is free to all chamber members\, and attendance is available in-person or via Zoom.\n\n\n\nOur presenter\, Carlan Myers\, brings over 20 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources. Prior to joining Warm Hearth Village\, Carlan served in management positions with American Healthcare\, Medical Facilities of America\, and Commonwealth Care of Roanoke. His expertise includes talent HR management\; Federal and State HR Law Compliance\; organizational development\; succession planning\; compensation and benefit plans\; and leadership training and coaching.\n\nCarlan is a graduate of Roanoke College with a B.A. in Business Administration. He proudly served his country for eight years in the United States Air Force.
