When registering\, please make sure to select your number one option in breakout one\, and your second option in breakout two.\n\n\n\nAll four breakouts will be offered twice\, however\, due to room sizes attendees do not have the option to select the specific time they attend. Answer?' with Devin Tobin\n\nFrom childhood\, we have been conditioned to find the right answers. However\, as leaders\, we are faced with complex problems that do not have a right or wrong answer. We are expected to solve problems like developing a competitive advantage\, engaging our employees\, and attracting talent. These types of problems don't have answers\, they have endless possibilities. In this workshop\, we will discuss three tactics to apply to complex decision making: Culture of Questioning\, Testing Assumptions\, and Standing by Your Decision. After active participation in the workshop\, participants will be able to test assumptions and evaluate multiple solutions to solve complex problems.\n\n \n\n'Effective Problem-Solving is Actually More than Solving the Problem' with Margaret Deck\n\nWhen we are faced with solving a problem\, our brains naturally focus on finding a solution. This workshop uses real examples to show that taking a step back and understanding and correcting the root cause of the problem is much better than simply finding a solution to the immediate problem. 'Root Cause Analysis' is a critical problem-solving technique used by most organizations for the 'bigger' problems they face. That can include anything where managers say 'Wow\, we can't afford for that to happen again.' Two examples used in the workshop are food poisoning at a restaurant and an airline that transports an unaccompanied minor to the wrong destination.\n\n \n\n'Five Money Questions' with Meghan Kuczmarski and Valerie Wheeler\n\n This presentation provides a process women can use to identify financial goals and set a strategy. Through this presentation and interactive discussion attendees will discuss the Rule of 72\, systematic investing\, employer-sponsored retirement plans and IRA's as strategies for saving. \n\n \n\n'A Mighty Force: The Changemaking Power of the Feminine Collective' with Patti Talbot\n\nIt will take a collective feminine consciousness and an intrepid spirit to attain the ambitious United Nations Global Goals by the 2030 stated target. When we gather our resources and refocus our talents\, we can do it. But we will only be successful when we take these steps with other committed women and men walking alongside us on the journey. This is the path of the Changemaker. When we walk the path together\, everyday women can create extraordinary change. Change Educator Patti Talbot has a map to get us there. Join this session to learn more about the knowledge\, skills and dispositions you will need to carry with you on your own Changemaker's Journey.\n\n\n\n* Please note that we are unable to process cancellations or refunds closer than 5 business days to the conference.
