This holiday performance features special guest vocalist Catherine Russell\, who will personally choose some of her favorite holiday tunes. The latest generation in a family of jazz royalty\, Russell possesses a transcendent voice and uplifting spirit. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra\, featuring 15 of jazz music's leading soloists\, has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras. The ensemble is led by musical director Wynton Marsalis\, who has recorded more than 70 jazz and classical albums\, earning him nine Grammy Awards. In 1983\, he became the first and only artist to win both classical and jazz Grammys in the same year.
