DESCRIPTION:Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA at Virginia Tech\n\nThis year on April 29th\, the YMCA at Virginia Tech will celebrate the 31st anniversary of Healthy Kids Day \, a national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids.\n\nHealthy Kids Day  is a free" Summer Kick-off" event including a fun run\, enrichment activities\, fun filled games\, interactive demonstrations and a healthy focus on family life! The event will also be promoting local summer programs and activities for children\, encouraging them to remain active throughout the summer months. Our theme for the event will be Nostalgia- evoking "feel good" memories of past healthy activities and encouraging excitement about the future.\n\nThe event will be located on the field and tennis courts between Cassell Coliseum and the YMCA Lancaster House on Washington St. Blacksburg. It will be held April 29th from 10am to 3pm.
