DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 5\, 5-7pm\n\nPlease join us for an evening of art in downtown Blacksburg. Gallery spaces will participate in the Art Walk which is FREE and open to all! Rain or shine the place to be for an evening of arts and culture is Downtown Blacksburg! Hope to see you there.\n\n\n\nAlexander Black House\n\nNancy Norton has an exhibit at the Alexander Black House1/6 through 2/13. The title is "Weeds and Wilds: A Celebration of Wild Flowers in Alcohol Ink." All are invited to the reception on February 5 beginning at 5pm-7pm with a talk by the artist at 6pm. The exhibit includes large pieces that are realistic while also giving the inks the freedom to flow and blend.\n\n\n\nArt Pannonia\n\nAbstract artist HARKRADER is the next featured artist in the Blacksburg downtown art gallery Art Pannonia.\n\n"Adaptation" is the title the show\, which runs from February 5 to the end of March.\n\nMEET THE ARTIST RECEPTION on Friday\, February 5\, 5 - 7pm.\n\nThe image is "Silent Echo" oil painting by Harkrader\n\n\n\nCommunity Arts Information Office \n\nFeaturing work by Larry Mitchell and Norma Woodward\n\nEucalyptus Massage Therapy\n\nJoin us for First Friday February 5th\, 5-8pm with Painter & Multi-Media Artist Wayne Thomas. This is a must see show including local landscapes. Strange Coffee will be with us to provide free pour overs! The "Path to Peace: Annual Martin Luther King Jr Children and Teen Art Exhibit" will be open for viewing until 9 p.m.\n\nThe Path to Peace: Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Children and Teen Art Exhibit will be on display through February 27. The artwork from this show represents student reflections on the Martin Luther King quote\, "if I cannot do great things\, I can do small things in a great way." Artwork was installed as a "path" along the gallery walls\, demonstrating how each of us doing our part creates a "path to peace." The installation\, which illustrates this year's WOS theme "Putting It Together"\, is a jazz ensemble instrument piece that the students are preparing for the Moss Jazz Outreach event on Duke Ellington.
