SUMMARY:ACC InVenture Prize @ Virginia Tech
DESCRIPTION:VT KnowledgeWorks will host its 2nd Annual ACC InVenture Prize @ Virginia Tech on November 2\, 2016.  Virginia Tech undergraduate teams will be chosen to participate based on a one-page submission of their business idea.  Finalists will deliver a 3-minute pitch about their business ideas and inventions for the chance to compete against other ACC universities on March 31\, 2017\, at the ACC InVenture Prize competition\, a Shark Tank-style pitch competition offering $30\,000 in prize money.\n\nTeams that apply for the ACC InVenture Prize @ Virginia Tech competition will also be automatically entered into the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Entrepreneurship Challenge Semifinals on April 12\, 2017\, to compete for $15\,000 in scholarships\, start-up services\, and the opportunity to face global contenders on a world stage next summer for the $25\,000 VT KnowledgeWorks Global Entrepreneurship Challenge Award.
