DESCRIPTION:*This program is SOLD OUT*\n\nThe Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2019 Women's Leadership Conference focused on aspiring and accomplished professional business women.\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Inn at Virginia Tech & Skelton Conference Center | 901 Prices Fork Road Blacksburg VA\n\n\n\nNetworking Continental Breakfast & Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.\n\nProgram Time: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nAdmission Fee:  $99.00 Chamber Members | $149 Non-Members. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Payment is required prior to admission.\n\n\n\nRegister online or call 540.382.3020 to reserve your seat at the table. When registering you must choose two workshops to attend. \n\n\n\nOur keynote speakers for this event is Dr. Nneka Logan. Dr. Logan is an assistant professor in the communications department at Virginia Tech. She was a breakout session speaker in 2018\, and she is back by popular demand. Her expertise in organizational and corporate communication ties in perfectly with our 2019 theme\, Women: Strengthening Our Voices.\n\n\n\nWe have additional women speaking during break out sessions on challenges women face and on developing skills that will serve us well. This year's breakout sessions include:\n\n1. Strengthening our Position & Confidence: a 90 - minute special on the Imposter Syndrome led by Kristy Karas\, MSN\, APRN\, PMHNP\, BC\n\n2. Strengthening our Financial Voice led by Christine Smith of Ameriprise Financial\, Smith & Associates\n\n3. Strengthening our Voice: Choosing the Better Yes led by Emily Redding\, MCPS's Teacher of the Year\n\n4. Strengthening our Voice: Telling Your Brand Story led by Kristina Rose of Kristina Rose Photography\n\n5. Strengthening our Voice in Healthcare led by Carrie Champine\, DO\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nCan you imagine our community without women? We have female leaders of all ages who have helped make our community the success that it is. Who do you believe has made our community a better place and how?\n\n \n\nThe Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will recognize three women for their achievements and contributions to the local community at the annual Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Women's Leadership Conference at the Inn at Virginia Tech.
