DESCRIPTION:The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2018 Women's Leadership Conference focused on aspiring and accomplished professional business women and resiliency in leadership.\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Inn at Virginia Tech & Skelton Conference Center | 901 Prices Fork Road Blacksburg VA\n\n\n\nTime: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nAdmission Fee:  $99.00 Chamber Members | $149 Non-Members. Seating is limited and reservations are required.  Payment is required prior to admission.\n\n\n\n Register online or 540.382.3020 to reserve your seat at the table.  When registering you must choose two workshops to attend. \n\n\n\nOur keynote speakers for this event are Susan Still\, CEO of HomeTown Bank\, Louise Baker\, Real Estate Broker with Long and Foster\, Danielle Bartelstein\, Virginia Tech Football Recruiter\, and Nikki Giovani\, author and Virginia Tech professor.  \n\n\n\nWe have eight additional women speaking during break out sessions on challenges women face and on developing skills that will serve us well.  The break out sessions are  \n\nWorkshop A:\n\n Nneka Logan\, speaking on Crucial Conversations: Communications\,\n\nElle D. Miller\, speaking on Life Balance\n\nSara Bohn\, speaking on Financial Planning \nCaitlyn Scaggs\, speaking on Weathering Career and Life Changes\n\n\n\nWorkshop B:\n\nDr. Susan Campbell\, speaking on Women's Health Issues\n\nCarol Beliveau\, speaking on Female Fitness\n\nScarlett Williams\, speaking on Setting Boundaries \n\nAnd the final workshop is titled: Leadership Development Through Board Service: Why Women Make Great Board Members\n\n \n\nWomen Make A Difference!\n\n \n\nCan you imagine our community without women? We have female leaders of all ages who have helped make our community the success that it is. Who do you believe has made our community a better place and how?\n\n \n\nThe Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will recognize three women for their achievements and contributions to the local community on March 20 at the Annual Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Women's Leadership Conference at the Inn at Virginia Tech.
